Hollow reamer

Hollow reamer are used to remove damaged screws

A common case is deformation of the screw socket. It occurs as a result of using too much force or a damaged screwdriver (or other independent cause). If the use of a EXTRACTOR proves ineffective, remove the screw head and then use an appropriate TREPAN to unscrew the shaft remaining in the bone.

Another reason for using a trephine is the breakage of the screw head during installation or removal of the implant.
